Sometimes, business is great, in fact it is booming.  There are huge opportunities ready to be taken, NOW!   Your company may need to add several people, all at once.   “Load the wagon, don’t worry about the mule!”

Other times, things may be more subdued.  In fact, I have successfully completed a lot of searches where there was a critical need, but no open job requisition – only a clearly communicated understanding of how valuable the “just – right” talent could be to a company.
